Gravity-based training systems, developed by “efi Sports Medicine”, is designed to deliver quick, efficient and effective workouts while keeping the classes interesting with an ever expanding program variety. The innovative GTS equipment uses your body weight as resistance through a cable pulley system attached to a glide board. The workout recreates everyday movements by working several muscles and joints simultaneously promoting stabilization rather than isolation. Adjustable to nine different levels of resistance, the machine engages all major muscle groups and facilitates more than 250 strength training, stretching and Pilates exercises.
The unique features of GTS allow RPM’s instructors to provide group workouts with individual results. In less than an hour, Gravity will provide a low-intensity cardiovascular workout that burns fat, builds strength, improves flexibility and keeps your heart pumping!
GRAVITYStrength™
This muscular strength and endurance class is a time-efficient, yet effective, full-body workout. This class offers a variety of exercises and the freedom of a dynamic pulley system that allows for enhanced muscle development and toning as well as an increase in joint range of motion and core stability. The use of body weight as the resistance factor produces an individualized workout routine that can be progressively increased in intensity as strength and performance improve.
GRAVITYPilates™ is a blend of traditional Pilates reformer and mat exercises and is designed to fit all levels of participant fitness. Gravity Pilates was developed in order to accommodate people of all fitness levels, regardless of their strength, flexibility and experience. The GTS Gravity Machines work with variable inclines, allowing participants to select a level that is appropriate for their strength, flexibility, and height. The inclines also address the challenges of cervical tension and hamstring inflexibility, which allows the participants to correctly perform the exercises both safely and effectively. Class includes a warm up, workout, cool down and stretching.
